With a theme like The Garden of Time, you can hardly start the lustrum year with anything other than a visit to a garden. We didn't choose to go to a flower garden, however (let's be realistic, guys: it's October), BUT! On Saturday, October 11th, we will be visiting Burgers' Zoo instead. And don't worry: the zoo gardens are definitely worth a visit all the same! And so are the animals.

Have you been searching for a fan to match your dress, suit, or formal attire? Look no further, because this is the perfect opportunity to design your own fan. Unleash your creative talent in this afternoon of arts and crafts to make your dream fan a reality so you can shine (and cool off from all that dancing) at our anniversary gala!

Making a fan takes an hour or two on average, although this naturally depends greatly on the level of detail you plan to add to your fan. All crafting materials will be provided for you, but feel free to bring your own stuff as well, to use for yourself or to share with others.

What is a masked ball without a mask? Come join us for this fun crafts day in Millingen aan de Rijn! you can design and make your own mask out of Worbla. Personalize it to your liking with fabric, glitter, paint, or other materials. Such a long day of crafting naturally calls for a delicious treat to keep you going, so we will provide some (homemade) pancakes for you to snack on.

All crafting materials will be provided for you, but feel free to bring your own stuff as well, to use for yourself or to share with others.

At the Talent À La Cour show competition, the lustrum dance has been chosen, and this dance day is the perfect opportunity to learn it! We'll start the day early at Danscentrum Vermeulen to practice it to death. And since everyone's here anyway, the instructors will also teach us our club dance, An der schönen, blauen Donau, while we’re at it.

There will be several breaks for eating and resting (2 hours for dinner so you can go into town), but you are responsible for your own meals. It will be a very intense, but also very enjoyable and dance-tastic day!

In keeping with tradition, Les Précieuses Ridicules is staging a lustrum play. Les Fleurs du Temps was written specially for our lustrum and fits the theme perfectly: a true spectacle for lovers of time travel, blue flowers and court dancing. You won't want to miss this!

The play will be performed twice:

• Friday evening 19:00 - 21:30
• Saturday afternoon 14:00 - 16:30

Please note: the play will be completely in Dutch.

Come and join us for a fun “hangover cure” during the gala breakfast! This afternoon, we will be playing dances from all associations as they are requested while enjoying a delicious picnic/potluck.

The dance and picnic portion is expected to last from approximately 12:00 to 15:00, after which we are welcome at Louis and Odile’s house for their homemade pancakes.

You are free to come and go as you please to both of these activities, though the gala breakfast does require a ticket to participate. We would also prefer you to register for the pancakes so we know how many to bake, although you are still welcome to join us without registering.
